From One Site to Sydney's Biggest Projects
In 2012, we took on our first construction site contract with Mirvac. We'd spent years in hospitality and knew good food — but what we found on site surprised us. Workers were surviving on vending machines and substandard food trucks. Nobody was treating them like they deserved a proper meal. So we changed that.
We built our operation around one simple idea: workers doing hard, physically demanding jobs deserve fresh, quality food at a fair price. Not afterthoughts. Not leftovers from a van. Thirteen years later, Hungry Outback and MyKitchen Café have served workforces of up to 2,000 people on some of NSW's most complex construction projects — including Multiplex's Western Sydney International Airport Terminal, Maitland Hospital, and John Hunter Hospital. The food got better. The team grew. The mission didn't change.
